This is kind of a silly question, but are bunny ears supposed to be warm or cold?  Or maybe it doesn’t matter. . . Because I  noticed that Velvet always has really warm ears but Ruby’s ears are always really cold.  Is that a problem? 

 My rabbit has some skin problem  please help!!

I really need your help. I am debating with another person about bunnies. She claims bunnies should live alone as they are solitary animals. This means that they eat together, but do not sleep together.
I say that they are colony animals and need the company of each other. Quite clearly when you see them together.

Mike bought a jar of that stuff last weekend and I’ve tried a few pieces of the rosehips for the rabbits and they don’t seem to keen on them..they’ll bite them but then just give up.  They like the raisins and papaya from the package though.

she had a abscess on her face so I took her to the
vet and they drained it and prescribed 
liquid cephalexin orally 1/2 ml every 8hr for 7 days 
and baytril 1 pill every 12 hr 10 days

Me and my family were just thinking that wew could save sooo much money if we just got hay seeds and grew it our selves. Have any of you tried this? If you have where did you find seeds? Are snack shacks safe for bunnies? I know that they are marketed for them but are they safe? Just as a one time thing. I got one from a friend for my Sixteenth but I am not sure if I should give it to Fern, Not wanting to be mean to that friend or anything…

I’m noticing Duncan has a low respiratory rate. When he’s hopping around or sitting up it’s normal, but when he lays down on his belly with his legs out behind him, it is low. Hi All,
My boyfriend and I are constructing a new bunny pen and we’re trying to decide which materials are safe to use.  Instead of wood we’d like to use PVC pipe and thick chicken wire.  Is PVC safe for bunnies in case they chew on it?  Also, we are thinking about using one of those washer tubs as the floor.  I know  a lot of other binky bunny…[Read more]

I  seen some woven grass mats at my petstore yesterday and I want to get one for Bindi as he seems bored lately and so he can have something soft to lay on.
Did anyone every try these? He is a chewer so I’m pretty sure he will chew it in no time and I”m wondering if it could possibly upset his tummy if he goes nuts?
