Definitely important to have a good set-up for during this time (and during the healing and bonding process), as it will be less stressful for everyone (including you!).
NIC cube condos, dog crates, and x-pens can be great temporary housing, and can be relatively cheap. I personally love NIC cubes for making housing that can be reconfigured when…[Read more]

DanaNM replied to the topic Watching Sneezing, Worried About Snuffles in the forum HOUSE RABBIT Q & A 6 years, 5 months ago
I think best is to talk to the vet, I don’t necessarily think the sore hock has to be snuffles. Can you post a pic of the hock?
Don’t separate your trio. If it is snuffles, they will all have already been exposed to it anyway, and the stress of separating will make things worse. Bring all three when you go to the vet as well (sometimes when one…[Read more]

Yes when I pull her ears gently she just chatters her teeth the same way when I give her a massage on her head

I’ve recently got a 5 1/2 month old mini lop. (Week ago) He’s my 3rd bunny over the years. This bunny is completely different to my other bunny’s. He loves to shoot around doing bunny 500s, he loves to flop out and chill. He doesn’t like being picked up, which I have to do to get him out of his home. He doesn’t like being stroked, sometimes…[Read more]

Hi and welcome!
I do think your rabbit will settle in well in a new place, since you will be there too. A cardboard hidey house would be good, (with two door holes, buns always like two exits) in case your bunny feels a little insecure for starters. The mere knowledge that there is a safe hidey-box to be had if needed, can make a bun more willing…[Read more]

Sadly Binky passed away in mine and my daughters arms on Saturday. He started seizing terribly until his little body gave out from it . My heart hurts and the guilt is awful because it’s all my fault he didn’t get to live a longer life . Thank you for the support.<!–more–><!–more–>

I’m glad to hear he is doing better. Is more than one leg affected? Which legs are affected? Bunnies can get sprains just like humans, but they can of course also break their legs, or, if both back legs are affected, there could be an injury to the lower back. Is he pooping and peeing like normal? Please describe his leg troubles more in detail!
