    Hi Monkeybun!

I’m sorry about Moose, but happy that he got such a long and good life 💗 💗💗

    Hi and welcome!

I’m sorry to hear your bun is unwell. I don’t think the temperature is the issue, I think it’s the EC causing trouble. It can take quite some time until you see improvement with EC meds. Treatment for 28 days used to be standard  but many vets treat for 5 weeks or longer. Is she on fenbendazole?

Burgess nuggets are good. They…[Read more]

    Hi everyone 🙁

My bun has been on EC meds for a week now, we’re not sure if she has EC as she had weak legs when I adopted her about 5 weeks ago. Vet says it’s not arthritis, we did a full body check. She is 3 years old.

Today it seems like her legs have gone worst.. she is dragging them everywhere and it’s breaking my heart. Even though she had…[Read more]

I looked it up, it’s related to normal pear and belongs to the rosacea family, same as apple and normal pear. From what I could find, it’s non-poisonous to humans and animals. Given that it’s related to normal pear and apple, I would think it’s bunny safe.

I want to say this would be safe but I would like to hear from some other members. Your rabbit will most likely want to sample it.

I know that regular pear trees are safe and rabbits can eat the leaves and wood.

Hi, and thanks again for the advice.
After taking them to the vet to make sure they weren’t hurt and having their claws cut back a bit we let them meet in a neutral enviroment for a few hours before seperating them for the night. There was periodic fighting, but we were usually able to seperate them without anyone getting hurt. We were also able…[Read more]

That’s a good thought, thanks! I’ll keep that in mind if he doesn’t start drinking from his bowl again. I had read early on that sipper bottles should be avoided (due to harboring germs I think?) and haven’t tried them! That may not have been right.

Oh wow, that’s good to know! Thanks for this info. I hope famotidine helps your bunnies too if needed, until Zantac comes back.

Thank you for the update! Very well done!!

If a bun wont eat, it can be necessary to syringe feed it. I’m glad it didnt come to that with Bugs, it’s of course a huge lot better if the bun can be coaxed to eat its normal food 💚

    Oh Squirrel! I mis-counted 😳

Hard to believe he is elder bun also.

Moosie was around 11 years old now, so he definitely had a full life

    He sure did! 💜

So, long story short, our bunbun Marcella is +/- 4 months old and as from 2 or 3 days she has a considerably large (I guess) patch of fur missing.

She free roams around the house from the time we wake up ’till we go to sleep and has her toys and socks to nibble and throw around so I don’t think she’s bored in any way. We’re also stuck home 24h…[Read more]
