If he is losing a lot of fur, then yes, you should try brushing him as much as you can. Different bunnies molt differently. Some will shed small amounts continuously, while others will “blow their coats” and shed everything in a relatively short amount of time. If your bunny is the latter, then it’s best to stay on top of it.

Thank You so much for replying! It’s Buddy’s back toe. Bella still has fur on her hocks, but under the fur it looks a little more red and scally than It did. If you were in my place would you try and get Bella to the vet? Or would you just keep an eye on her for now? Would Bella get hurt If I put cream on her hocks and she licks it?

Hi Bam..Yes, day by day I could see some improvements now he could  do stand position but not that for long he still easily out of balance because his backlegs were not fully recover. I will keep you all updated when his back.leg back to normal.

I make digging boxes for my bunny, basically just take a box and throw either crumpled phone book pages, or shreds of paper inside, like stuff it most of the way. My bunny will spend hours digging it all out and shredding that.
Weaving willow or young branches from other safe trees through his cage bars will also give him something safe to gnaw…[Read more]

Oh okay thank you so much for the information, I do hope it will heal by itself. Do you know of any soft flooring that isn’t chewable? I know that if I put something down such as memory foam, Coco will scratch and chew it instantly.
