I somehow managed to get a pic but it’s not letting me upload it. I click “add media” and then “select file” and change my image size but when I click “done” it disappears.

Oh the car ride was amazing. We did it again the next day then when we got home we went to the normal date spot for about 15 minutes and there was no grooming or anything but they just sat next to each other nicely. It was a lot for them so we’ll probably do the next one tomorrow why then maybe try a date without a ride first? Maybe we’ll do the…[Read more]

Hi there,
Sorry no one has replied yet! Four months is young for a spay. I think if I was in your shoes I would wait a while. I think most vets prefer to spay at 6-9 months, so you could wait at least until then and see if her murmur goes away. I don’t think there would be any harm in even waiting until she was a year or so.

Hmmmm, can you post a picture?
Sometimes lops have issues cleaning their ears, but if it is mites you don’t want to mess with the scabs as it can be very painful. If it is ear mites, Revolution should work, and maybe your vet could prescribe it to you over the phone.

My bunny is 3 months old and has scab like things in his ears. Well they aren’t like scab scabs but more like light brown dry skin. They are deep in both ear and don’t really stick out they are just rough to the touch. Google isn’t really helping me much sense I can’t really tell what’s going on in there. He does scratch his ears quite a bit but n…[Read more]

Dana is right about the Carefresh… I litter trained Beau with it for the first few weeks after I adopted him with wonderful results. He hasn’t been neutered yet, and doesn’t have any accidents or marking behaviors…but again he’s introduced to new areas of the house slowly and always with a litter box in close proximity.
Recently switched over…[Read more]

@SamAnn96, welcome!
We ask members not to reply to old threads to avoid confusion! But I’ll address your question here. 🙂
Pre-soaking probably would defeat the purpose, but I put a nice fluffy hay layer on top of the wood pellets and that makes them much more appealing to the buns.

Hi there,
Glad you have them separated. Do make sure they cannot nip each other through the fence, either by using a finer mesh or creating a buffer of a 4-6 inches with a double fence. Nipped noses can create negative feelings and grudges.
At their ages, it is possible that she may have gotten pregnant (they can sometimes do the deed through…[Read more]

So cute! Highly bunny-appropriate tunnel! If I could only have one bunny toy, I’d choose a tunnel.
Here’s my bun in his outdoors run. He has the green weather-proof plastic tunnels and one that I’ve made of willow and birch.

It’s not the wrong thing to do, quite the opposite. Reglan can be stopped short, tapering off should not be needed. 💚

Sometimes you can never identify an underlying cause, a bun can get a bit of gas, which is painful, it stops eating and needs a little help getting the tummy back on track. The earlier you intervene, the better. Underlying causes is sth you start looking more closely for if episodes like this won’t resolve with simple measures, of if they keep…[Read more]
