The smart ones are always the hardest to try break out of undesirable behaviours, and your rabbit being a Dutch, well they’re know to be smart cookies.
So he never pees on the couch when you’re all on there together?
but the moment we step away he will jump on the couch and pee on it right away.
To is, that would seem like naughtiness or spi…[Read more]

It definitely wasn’t hot so he had to have been scared. I was just freaking because he never let me pet him when he was laying down like that and kept getting up for a few seconds and then laying right back down. He seems to be a lot better right now so hopefully it was just a scare.

Your parents’ concerns are valid. A lot of people are having trouble with vet care right now.
I’m wondering if he got into some extra dusty hay and it irritated his nose. Has he been eating hay?

Hi guys. I need help. So my 4 month old bunny ate half a vitamin c chewable tablet. I don’t know if that’s bad for bunnies! Please help, I didn’t find anything online if it’s bad for them to ingest this!!!! I know it says they don’t need vitamin c but I don’t see anything saying if it’s bad for them to ingest it by accident. 😥

We haven’t mentioned this behavior to the vet, we just assume it was normal territorial behavior. We have a cloth couch. He doesn’t have a specific spot on the couch either, he just pees on it as soon as he gets on it. We do notice he loads up on water when he knows we’re about to leave the room (he knows our schedule! lol), but he hasn’t done…[Read more]

Turns out Holly is a he, no, he sleeps in the living room and there is no new scents around, and the only symptom is just the sneezes they started out of nowhere, he’s been binkying and dashing around, he still eats normally and gives kisses, he only sneezed twice today, and his nose is not as wet as before.
Also, money is not the problem, I’m…[Read more]

I would try the bathroom floor and see how they do, sometimes a wee bit more space can really help. Maybe even with a car ride first! Vacuuming around can work too, but I’ve found the movement of the car really works well. Some people will also drag the buns around in a laundry basket, or but them on top of the washing machine. Aside from…[Read more]

Hmm…
Have you had him checked out by a vet to make sure there isn’t an underlying problem causing this? Bunnies, by default, like to pee on soft things. His level of determination is a bit over the top though.

Does she have any other symptoms besides the sneezing? Did this come on suddenly?

LBJ10 replied to the topic how to tell a bunny no in the forum DIET & CARE 6 years, 4 months ago
Of course you can tell a bunny no. Doesn’t mean they will listen. LOL
Seriously though, I had a lot of luck with using a sharp “no”. Bunnies can most definitely learn what it means. You say no, they stop, and then they watch you to see if you’re still looking. Hahahaha!
To teach them the meaning of the word, there needs to be an action that…[Read more]

Hey Chelsea!
I don’t currently own bunnies but I’m researching a lot. I think you should definitely try the car rides and you can also put both buns in a laundry basket put them on top of the washer/dryer when it’s on. Make sure the basket has enough room for both to be cuddled next to each other, not too far apart. This is a form of stress…[Read more]
