Hi! So, right now, they’re all currently separated in three different cages. Would it be OK if I rotated them through those three cages? Also, they don’t really have a ‘neutral’ territory for when I do, do re-bonding sessions.

It feels like August here. Normal temps for early June is low 80s. It’s been close to 100 F all week. I bought a new bike and I haven’t even used it yet. It’s just so hot!

Jumping in the litter box is not a problem for most buns, if the box has a swingy door, just remove it and your bun should be hopping in and out.

Thank you for the tips! I always reinforce good behavior with a treat, and I will try being a little more firm and confident when picking him up so he feels more stable and learns not to squirm or jump out of my arms. I’ve only had him for a month, and I’m sure he will warm up to the idea of being held.

Yes for sure @dananm! My bun’s previous foster mom complained he was wasn’t litter trained and kept peeing out of the box, and when I saw it it was SO small. When I gave him a new big box, he uses it without fail.

We might have to take him to the vet if he absolutely cannot tolerate it, but for now, we are going to try to get him more used to us and nail clipping because we’ve only had him for a month. I’ve been letting him free roam around my room all day for the past three days, and putting him in his xpen at night, and he has been an angel! He has only been chewing on his chew toys, and a tiny bit at the curtains. My mom doesn’t want him to free roam all day and night, especially when I start returning to school, but so far he has been great!

The vet examined her teeth more closely than she did the other day and noticed the bottom teeth (in the back, not the front teeth, which are fine) were misaligned.
