That’s great!
My buns really eat more hay when they have small fluffy piles that I refresh frequently, rather than a hay rack stuffed full. Bunnies can be very particular about how they like their hay!

little update: the little man pooped on my bed… Thank god rabbit droppings are dry, odorless, and made of plant materials. For now, I’m going to stop him from free-roaming at night and will leave him in his xpen at night, despite the bar wiggling he does, I don’t need my bed to be a litter box :/ I put the droppings back into his litter box and…[Read more]

@Thorbunny I love Terrance! He is such a sweet gentle boy!
Here’s so more pics of his cute little tattered face. He really got beat up by some bun at some point in his past but I think he is still very handsome! I feel like he looks like he could have been Bertha’s son. 🙂

I would encourage her to eat lots of hay and water to push any bits through and keep any eye on her for the next 24 hours or so. Definitely something to prevent in the future but as long as she didn’t eat a ton of it she will likely be able to pass anything through.

My bun just learned how to hop onto my bed, and I was wondering how safe that is. He isn’t a dwarf breed, and I’m sure I won’t accidentally sleep on him or anything, but is it ok for my rabbit to sleep in bed with me? All my bedsheets and duvet cover are cotton, if he accidentally chews the sheets, will it be dangerous? He is litter trained, but…[Read more]

Jersey it was Moonshine. He did not appreciate me touching outside of the family animals. Gah I miss that big drama baby.
I did not think of the cats getting her toys. She despises my cats. I made her enclosure larger and I am almost certain the cats can now get to her toys. Hmm.
She still chews on her grass mats and the hanging “play center” I…[Read more]

Uh oh! Don’t beat yourself up, bunnies can be very mischievous! Bunnies usually only ingest what they can swallow, so she might pass the little bits through, but definitely monitor your bun to see how they act. The best thing to do is to watch for any behavior that is unusual. The minute you notice your bun stops eating or pooping, then somethings…[Read more]

my rabbit ate a good chunk of a pee pad .. it was mostly shredded in his room he tore it out of my ither bunnies x pen.. she must have hopped and it slid out of place. I have always known him to be a chewer wich is why he does not get them in his pen. As i said it was shredded and looked liked it was chewed 🙁 the gel inside was definitely…[Read more]

It’s because she is the present 😉 rabbits are a great gift to their owners, my bun totally made me happy and I’ve only had him a month

Often times i’ll enter my room where my bun free roams, and sometimes he’ll come up to me, and sometimes he’ll run away in a skittish fashion, and I was wondering if he is trying to play or if he is scared?

She also likes to claim the Christmas tree all for herself – we were forced to removed all the presents under the tree because of her

@jerseygirl – he has two styles of foot flicks, the super excited one and the I am showing you I don’t approve of what you just did, the later is more just a dramatic flick or to and then a cold shoulder… usually last 10 seconds as he’s just not a grumpy soul even if he really wants to be. The other seems to be if there’s food, he gets to go out…[Read more]

little update: i had removed his little diy hay feeders a few days ago because they were chewed to bits, I finally found a new box and made him a new one and he’s totally going at it and munching his hay out of it. He finds it super fun because he gets to pull the hay out, so in addition of a little more pellets, the absence of his favorite hay…[Read more]

i just take a tissue box, poke a hole on each side, slide a bungee cord through then full it with hay and attach it to the pen. It makes a little bit of a hay mess when the rabbit pulls the hay out, but its super fun and Louie loves it.
