If the stomach is full but theres little food or gas in the gi tract, it points to a partial blockage in the intestines. Proper treatment for that is fluids and pain meds. If it’s a booger, then no. It doesn’t sound like it’s obstructing his breathing.

I wouldn’t recommend a butt bath unless he actually has poop stuck to his rear. If it’s just pee stains and hay getting stuck, a butt bath isn’t going to do much. You really would be better off doing a sanitary shave. A vet could do this if you’re not comfortable doing it yourself.

Something could have come loose. I imagine he will eventually work it out. The drops should help.

Sorry for the very late reply! The ciprofloxacin and ketorlac are for his cataract on his right eye. Now, I wonder why he would prescribe it if it wouldn’t help with it.
