I’ve tried that, but to me it’s way too hard on the feet (one of them has a little bit sore hocks or calluses) also it was a little dusty.

A sanitary shave should help! I agree that having a vet help with it at first is good. For at home trimming, I recommend getting a “manscaped” style trimmer (generic versions are fine) as they make it much easier and safer to do at home!

I wonder if a wood-based pelleted litter would absorb better. Like horse stall pellets, Feline Pine, wood stove pellets, etc.

She just reached her head up and nibbled down lettuce from my plate. It had Italian dressing on so I got her a few more pieces. I’m waiting for a vet to call back about lactated ringers. Please let her get through 24 hrs again. Small poops and wee’s. Doing all that’s advised here. Got her moving a bit.
