I change my litter box every two days, after that my bun stops using it because it’s too soiled, and I usually just take all the extra hay he tosses around and pulls out of his extra hay racks and boxes and put it into the litter box so he isn’t sitting in his own poops.

I have a small air purifier I turn on in my room with my rabbit that helps keep the mustiness out, and traps dust and bunny fur. It does have a cord, so I either only use it when I’m in the room or place it up higher.

I use a kitchen scoop with slightly flexible sides so I can get in the edges better. I have a litter screen on top, so i do dump all the poops out! My Fable is spayed but her poops still smell strongly of onions sometimes so definitely need to dump daily, haha. The scoop stays in the bag of litter.

I have tried the lint roller on my Fable and it does not work, hahaha.  The reusable ones use fabric texture to grab fur, rather than stickiness, so it’s a different mechanism, though I argue more effective for surfaces. On the rabbit itself, it doesn’t do much unfortunately.

Hi Wick! Surprisingly his hay isn’t much of a problem, but since he is heavily molting, his fur is everywhere in our home haha. I was hoping the air purifer could help more with dust and pollen as my mom is much more sensitive to those and suffers from asthma as well and if it happens to also help with some drifting fur then great!

I do all litterboxes once a day. I don’t think I go through more litter necessarily though. I do not dump everything. I salvage whatever hay I can and only scoop out litter that’s been soaked. What Bam said. If you get him neutered at three months he could still have viable sperm for another month, so they will have to be separated no matter what. Update: So, Fable is a 100% no-go on being in a half-sized pen in the living space during the day. She knows what room she’s in and she wants out. Lindsey – What did you switch from and what made ya decide to? I like that the organic bounty has omega 3 and 6 fatty acids. But dang it only comes in 3 pound bags. Lucky you don’t feed very much of it! 😛
