Considering there is a meat breeder nearby, I’m going to guess they are probably New Zealand (or similar breed) or a mix of “meat” breeds.

I would, but then again I always wash any new blankets or clothes before using them. Probably not necessary, but it won’t hurt anything. 🙂

yeah he’s molting and I’ve been brushing him a little each day but he doesn’t like it too much. When I first got him he had a v shape on his face, and it continually grew out, but now it’s already coming back up his face, does that mean he will be constantly molting? He’s a Havana rabbit so he doesn’t have a ton of fur like lionheads or angoras.

That’s good things seems to be getting back to normal. Place hay near favorite spots seems like a good strategy. Is he molting by chance? Sometimes molting can cause weird tummy issues etc.

Oh! Yes they are definitely domestic rabbits (which are a different species from cottontails). And very cute to boot! 🙂

Thank you Bam, I’d be honest they dont seem to be neutered and they were fighting but they have got along together pretty well and they cuddle and sleep together now. As I mentioned in the above reply, I am actually looking for a vet and the cost of neutering them so that I can save and get them neutered as it is pretty hard to litter train them.…[Read more]

Thank you so much for the reply, I’ll try to wash their legs with a damp cloth and cornstarch. I am checking about nearby vets in my city who can actually treat rabbits.
