It’s a shame the vet didn’t look at some closer under microscope.

Can you gently lay some cello tape on the fur and get some out for closer look?

My bunnies do it too! Out of nowhere, they’ll just start licking the floor, or the couch, lol 😆 I’ve heard that it can be of the unique smell or the strange taste, that makes them lick the sofa.

Have you tried hiding cors behind big pieces of furniture? My bedside lamp cord goes behind my headboard so it doesn’t get in the way and is hidden from being chewed.

if less affection is a reason you’re on the fence abt getting her a friend, just remember if you’re able to get her a friend, less affection shouldn’t be a big concern. Most rabbits are still very affectionate and love human’s AND other bunny affection once you get close.

You could try hand-pulling if your bunny can handle it. Sometimes I pet my bunny and pull out some of the loose fur while he’s relaxed.

I’ve had success getting hair off with a lint roller, and I remember a previous member who onwned a rex saying this worked well for them as well!

Just rub a new sheet on your clothes a few times before rolling it over your bunny so it isn’t too sticky.

The vet did not administer anything as he said they are not fleas nor fur mites. I have a flea comb that I tried to use on him but they pass through the wires so it’s ineffective. I use the hair buster and that’s the only way I can see them crawl in his fur but I can’t rip out all his fur like that.

Did your vet recommend any treatment? Have you tried combing them out? Do they seem to be growing in number? It would be good to know if this was a spontaneous occurrence, what sort of environment your rabbit is in as well. How long have you had your rabbit and is this how he’s always been?

Thank you! She’s more open to the back but my old buns loved their faces. It does help. It’s gets discouraging when you trying so hard lol Ohhht that sounds like it was so worrisome. Hopefully we don’t have any complications. She’s lucky to have you. What a good bunny parent!

I am sure it’s nothing to worry about. Trixie did the same thing it actually took like 3 months for her to not be afraid of like anyone.
