Oh what a good idea I am going to make one right now! Anyone else I still need ideas!!

diy hay feeders are my favorite! I use boxes, I sew them, I use paper bags! my bun loves eating hay this way and it’s enrichment as well.

There should always be hay in litter boxes, or else the likelihood of a rabbit willing to go there dives down drastically! My living room has 4 litterboxes in total, and it’s not very large. If she’s fighting the CC feedings I guess she’s just not very hungry, which is good. It means she’s eating a decent amount on her own and she’s keeping her weight up as well. 🙂  I hope you get some news about the blood test soon.

An illness in one rabbit can sometimes upset the bond. Maybe she was starting to get sick and he picked up on that before you did?  I’m assuming both are castrated (spayed/neutered)?

I like the idea of more litter boxes, especially since he has access to three rooms separated by a longish hallway. Do you think I should put hay in each litter box that I set up? What I have noticed is that his “incidents” happen most frequently in the room in which his pen and his current litter box are in.

yeah, Dorian is a licker… his bedding and stuffed toys will get soggy from the love. I get soggy from him licking at times. I do tend to redirect it when it’s my pillows though as I prefer them not soggy!

I have plastic mat in the corners (stuff used for high traffic areas). that and a combo of toys, and things he can dig is really working for us.

Honestly sounds like my Wick, who understands my preference for the litterbox but acts against that pretty often. I have many pee spots on my carpet that I just dont attend to anymore because once it’s there, he usually doesn’t go over it again. Thus, I am resigned.
