Yeah rabbits don’t take very long… From what I heard from someone I know, a boy rabbit totally could be done in like 10 seconds! My buns are both fixed so if they mount it’s totally a social behavior and can go on much longer than that if I don’t stop them.

Unfortunately bonding can be a slow and agonizing process. It all depends on the buns 😂

I’ll be doing a pellet feed sesh soon, so sad, I was hoping to start bonding them at 4 weeks so she can have a companion… another 2-4 weeks of waiting to see if they even are a good fit.

Yes, it’s just that he’s finishing his business is what’s just confusing and weird. Mounting is totally fine. If he was properly neutered and it was only that short time ago, he’ll be a bit more humpy anyways just because the hormones are balancing themselves out.

I won’t let anymore mounting happen til about 6 weeks. Wouldn’t all bonding lead to some sort of mounting though?

Sometimes neuters and spays can be incomplete. A certificate doesn’t really prove anything except they did an operation they think was successful. I’d go to your own vet and get it confirmed because he shouldn’t be anything coming out of him.

Her behaviour is normal and shes eating great. I honestly think that I freaked out after finding the scabs. The scabs are doing great though. I have been cleaning them with saltwater and putting sudocrem onto and so far 2 have fallen off revealing very healthy skin underneath.

Shes about 8 months old and shes been acting super relaxed and happy. I honestly just think I freaked out a bit after finding the scabs

Jerseygirl I agree I find it so cute and funny – Tybalt slowly stretches them out but kind of crosses his feet at the end? It’s so very… regal of him.
