It looks like the bumps you mean are under the skin? If at all unsure I’d get them checked out by a vet, if it is anything serious it’s much better to catch early. How long have they been there and have they changed in size or number?

Hi,  just dropping in to give an update! Elmer still doesn’t want to be cuddly but they are usually in close proximity. They have been getting along just fine and we are over 6 days together. It isn’t the typical bonded pair but with these they can live together while building up to it 🙂

I think either would be fine, but it seems like she’s in discomfort you could give it at 8 pm to keep the 12 hour cycle.

*sigh* today I went out with my family and when I got back, Louie had peed on my bed. He got a time out in his xpen and his free-roaming conditions are gonna change from all the time free-roam in my room to only when I’m home.

I’m not sure if this is possible, but free-roaming in one room that the dogs aren’t allowed in is a nice way to allow lots of room, although it doesn’t work for everyone.

Hunny had her evening dose of Gabapentin at 10:00 PM, as scheduled (it’s already almost 11:00 PM here, as my timezone is EST). Would she be okay getting it again at 8:00 AM and then at 8:00 PM tomorrow, or should we wait until 10:00 PM again as per our original schedule? In other words:

Glad everything went well with the spay!

Soft poop is a side effect of the anesthesia. I wouldn’t be worried unless it persists.

I would give tonight’s dose an hour early (at 9 pm), then the morning dose at 8 am (so it’s just an hour off each time). I don’t think it would not be a good idea to skip a dose entirely and then be gone for the day.

Adjusting things by an hour or two shouldn’t be a problem.

Yep, spaying/neutering can help cut down on territorial poops. However, it doesn’t prevent them from making them. If they really want to mark something, they will do it no matter what.
