Yes they all have been eating/drinking/peeing/pooping normal.. just during the session they are stressed. they all will come and get a cookie afterwards and then get either veggies or pellets. Do keep an eye on their overall stress levels (make sure everyone is eating and pooping, and largely goes back to normal after the session). It’s normal for them to be annoyed at you though, unfortunately.

Agree with everything so far. Planning an overseas move is stressful enough, let alone with the stress of trying to bond bunnies before you go. Worst case you get them seemingly bonded, but then his hormones kick in and fights break out.

Glad she’s doing better. I would still remove the cabbage, but the other things are fine for now. You’ll want to slowly transition to leafier veggies that have a good balance of nutrients.

I agree some fresh hay might help. If she wants critical care, for sure keep giving it. 🙂 It has lots of beneficial things for the gut. Stasis can have some “fits and starts”, but critical care can help a lot.

I agree with the above posts. You should wait 4-6 weeks after the neuter before trying to bond them. The one being neutered should also be resting in his cage for 10-14 days to heal. Why do you want them bonded before you go?

Now I think she’s just protesting her regular food and all she wants is the critical care. She happily gobbles down all the critical care I give her, but everything else she eats sparingly. My vet recommended going to a feed store and getting a bale of hay, that she might like it better because it’s fresh. Any other ideas?

I think her GI tract is starting to slow down again. Yesterday there were less poops and she wasn’t eating as much. I gave her some more simethicone and when I woke up there were a good amount of poops. She’s still eating but her appetite is definitely slowing down. I really don’t want her to go into stasis again. Is there anything I can do?
