If a decent amount is left behind, he’s probably not eating any or enough that would merit immediate concern. As mentioned, unless you catch him, it’s hard to say. I’ve have a couple carpet pullers and usually if they leave dredges behind, they are only eating a small amount of it.

I have had two previous bunnies who have been my best friends, but my last one passed away in February of 2022. In October of 2022, I entered a local pet store, to look at the bunnies.  I don’t have any rescue shelters around me so I couldn’t get a rescue bunny, but I saw these three Rex rabbits all in a little container. I chose one of them and…[Read more]

It’s hard to tell unless you actually catch him in the act. I’ve had the best luck with blocking the carpet “hot spots” with heavy ceramic tiles and providing safe alternatives nearby. Cardboard cat scratchers and grass mats worked well for my carpet-digger buns.

If he has carpet in his pen or primary living space, it might be a good idea to get…[Read more]

Jellybean had the same issue months ago! It also seemed to align to GI stasis episodes. I found that adjusting his diet slowly has done the trick – finding no more ceco “berries” anymore.

I stopped Oxbow treats altogether and instead get treats from an Etsy shop called Made by Mokes. They make treats with zero filler ingredients (like oat flo…[Read more]

It’s important to remember that he is extremely hormonal and WILL mark. It is simply biology. Jellybean marked on everything before he was neutered – I invested in waterproof blankets to put on couch/bed/anything I didn’t want soaked in pee. He began spraying pee right before getting neutered – I was sprayed in the face before lol. this may sta…[Read more]

Hi there! First post here. Jellybean and I are temporarily living in a carpeted space. It’s his first time and though he loves it for zoomies and binks, it seems to have unlocked a digging habit.

I’ve been finding patches of carpet that has been ripped out. The fibers lay there, seemingly uneaten. I’ve also observed him doing it, and he seems…[Read more]

I believe it is OTC in Canada as well, but don’t quote me on that. I used Revolution on my Vienna marked bunny and never had any concerns. I would think we would have heard at least anecdotal reports online, as Bam said.

What happened to that dosage chart?

Yes, Revolution is OTC in Australia. It’s the only country I know of where Revolution is OTC.

For rabbits under 2.3 kilos you should use a vial of kitten Revolution. (Kitten Revolution). Repeat treatment is as a rule needed after 1-2 weeks, to get the parasites that were in life stages insensitive to Revolution when the Revolution was first…[Read more]

So like I said selamectin/revolution/stronghold is simply not available in my country and a vet prescription is not accepted by the websites. They only accept their own vets prescriptions not some foreign vets. I think I can get it from Australia without a prescription actually so I’m trying to get a friend to get it. I just need to know the c…[Read more]
