That’s right, you do have big, tough bunnies! It sounds as though they will be the boss of the cats. 😆 I’m sure it will be fine, maybe some of the other members with bonded cats and rabbits will help you bond them, under the condition that you post pictures. 😛

Buns typically change color when they molt, as I always say ‘owning a bunny and a lint roller come hand in hand’ 😉 I also found out recently that Californian rabbits change color seasonal, and it proves to be true, Silver’s ears are a much lighter grey. Bunnies are interesting and beautiful animals.  🙂

Just to put you a bit at ease one of our kitties has her third eyelid out all the time!! She’s a lil weirdo but she’s fine, and I’m guessing it’s the same for you bun <3 just keep an eye on her!

I agree with Dana. They look pretty normal to me. The larger ones may just have fur inside.

UPDATE: After much bribery and hanging out, Dandy finally decided to venture out of his cage tonight. He’s back in his hiding box now, but it’s definitely progress.

As long as it isn’t red and irritated, I wouldn’t be too worried. The third eyelid can protrude a little bit sometimes. Or it can get “stuck” if their eye is dry. Does your bunny sleep with her eyes open?

What kind of flowers? If it’s horse quality hay, I imagine it is fine.

Also, this is unrelated but is it normal for a rabbit to change colors? I could’ve sworn her ears were darker and now they seem to be turning lighter.

rinse with as hot of water as you can stand and i would imagine it’d be fine! make sure to put them somewhere where theyll dry quickly, though, or they may get moldy. if youre somewhere where summers are hot, letting them dry in the sun is a good way to ensure they don’t stay wet long enough to mold.

Pinky was in his pen by the way, my cat was outside of it.

Oh, okay. I thought you were talking about a thin coat over her iris and pupil, so that is what led me to blindness as a possibility. Yes, agree with Wick, it is her 3rd eye poking through. I wouldn’t be too worried, my buns’ 3rd eye pokes through occasionally. It is good of you to be concerned though. 🙂

I don’t think that two sneezes would mean a respiratory infection. Probably just the dust from the hay. 🙂

No she has no problem with seeing, so I don’t think it is blindness..

but it could be her third eyelid, it is my first time knowing about this..

i will see if it’s disappear then it is her third eyelid, if it’s not then i will go and ask the vet
