I have a question about getting Benjamin to gain weight. He’s still on the same diet as I said in my last post. He’s maintained his weight at 5lbs for the past week, which is great! However I’d love for him to continue to gain weight and get closer to 6lbs like he used to be.

Ozzy’s been yesterday at the groomers, she said he was as good as gold, unfortunately she had to clip him quite short because his ears were matted (I’m so angry with myself for letting it happen) so she had to shave them almost completely. I’m very sorry for your loss and that was a very beautiful tribute. I agree 10 years is a wonderful old age for a rabbit, although of course it’s never long enough.

Agreed! Grid panels are awesome for blocking off areas. I use a combo of pet gates and grid panels to keep my buns where they’re supposed to be when they are free-roaming while we’re home and awake, and then they get locked into pens (also made out of grid panels) when they aren’t supervised or if we need them to be safely tucked away for any reason.

I know you feel bad. Especially when they throw a tantrum realizing they aren’t going to get what they want anymore. But it is for the best, it really is! Thank God! You can’t imagine the number of times where I’d thought I was the worst pet owner in the world.

Will definitely be putting my foot down from now. Unless he puts his down first. Then he gets what he wants… (kidding)

I will make note of that, thank you! I definitely was hesitant to quarantine them if I can’t keep an eye on them because I feel bad, but no more! The devil works hard but Lewis is always working harder…
