We took a nap and couldn’t see her, so we made sure she was in her hide box. She thumped at my fiance when he accidentally woke her, and I’m delighted that she’s confident enough to tell us when we’re annoying her lol

Starting in neutral territory is good. Otherwise, they would fight, for they are very territorial. Waiting a month after spay/neuter is good, for that is how long it takes the hormones to officially drain out. I recommend reading the bonding section in the RABBIT INFO, stories and tips are shared there. 🙂

Hmm, is she scared when he is out of the pen, or does his presence make her feel better? Maybe when he is zooming you could sit in there with her, and pet her? Some buns actually learn from others how to be brave, so maybe she’ll start binkying all over the place too.

I agree that it’s best not to move her and to let her explore her new home on her own.   It can take a while for some bunnies to feel confident when in a  new place.  As long as she is eating, drinking, pooping and grooming, let her go at her own pace.

I think it is probably best to leave her where she is right now, for she might feel safer there. And it is a great sign that she is drinking, nibbling, and grooming! She’ll get used to you in her time, but all good and memorable bonds take time. 🙂
