Update:: the overnight session went fine, but they mostly just chilled out separately. I’m going to try a few more similar sessions then see how they’re doing.

I got two buns last Sunday from the same rescue. I’m planning on prebonding them in a couple weeks. Right now they are housed next to each other in separate x pens. There’s a blanket covering and a cardboard box in between them. They can’t see each other. But they are usually doing the same things at the same time: laying the same way, drink…[Read more]

There are many suggestions and trial and error things users will suggest, so hopefully we can help save your carpet! I’m sure other users will have plenty of suggestions.
Is she spayed? This can help really reduce those “destructive” tendencies rabbits have. There is also an especially health-focused reason to have females spayed in particular.

My bunny just won’t stop chewing the carpet. The edges are protected so now she just chews wherever she feels like. I have had her just under 3 months and is around 9 months old, her first few months she didn’t have the best of starts always well cared for but due to other bunnies being miss sexed went from pillar to post. She has loads of toys…[Read more]

I have some furminator brushes for my cats and I wanna know if it’s fine to use on my bunny. I got my two buns last week on Sunday. Pinky is shedding a lot right now. I don’t want to make him smell like cat because I’m going to start prebonding him with my other bun in about two weeks. I’ll probably have to keep brushing him a few times before…[Read more]

I don’t know, when I look at Panini I see nothing that makes me think Rex. I’m pretty sure even with babies you can tell by the fur that they’re Rexes. My bun had the Rex fur as a baby and he’s only part Rex. And they should have curly whiskers. As LBJ said, a different male could be the father. Were there any other kinds of rabbits around or were…[Read more]

Thank you so much for the reply. I’m between sad and a little mad at the vets office. Did the really check to see he had no bowel obstruction forming before they released him and they told it was ok he was eating hay since he ate some this morning before I picked him up. He was in pain and dying and I didn’t know.
I left Morgan at the vets off…[Read more]

Clide can have exercise pretty much the day after his surgery if he’s up to it. It’s wise to try and prevent excessive jumping and climbing for a week or so, but generally speaking, a young male is as good as new very soon after a neuter. Check his surgery site daily, there will be some swelling of the testicular sacks post neuter, but that is…[Read more]

I’ve been hearing her stomach gurgling so I’m thinking she has gas again. Would that make her breathe a little more heavily? I think I noticed she did the same thing last time she had gas

I am not going to call it yet, I am going to give it a few weeks before I say they are 100% bonded, but I think that we are at 90%. I will just give it time and just observe and hope! Thanks so much for all of the help and reassurance! I couldn’t have done it without it and this was an easy bond sooo… yay for first bonds!
