This is hilarious, my only wish is it were for an illustrated edition, perhaps a few photos of the eloquent Moink?

Thank you guys for the helpful responses! I still can’t find where the blood came from and i’m quite certain it was blood because it was bright red and their pee has been normal. There were no clumps of fur anywhere but Eevee does have a lot of fur and doesn’t like being touched too much so it’s difficult to be sure she isn’t wounded anywhere.…[Read more]

Clover can open a lot of pens and she knows it so I have to use a clip to keep them closed and she just goes to town trying to force her way through because it’s worked before! That said she behaves much better when she gets as much play time as possible. It sounds like your bunny is new and you guys are just figuring each other out so give him…[Read more]

Just a update because I know many people feed sherwoods. Ohio holland lops on thier instagram just posted a lenghy post about the formulas after talking with David Sherwood. Apparently Sherwoods is planning on phasing out the alfalfa in the blue bags due to GMO concerns and there will be a new formula coming out.
If anyone is interested, please…[Read more]

I think 10 x 12 feet is definitely sufficient. The guidelines they go by at the rescue I volunteer at access to minimum 50 sq ft for exercise space (so enough to get some zoomies out and actually run), and you are at 120 sq ft. Occasional access to more space would be appreciated but I’m sure she could be very happy with that much space as long as…[Read more]

Oh I didn’t know too many greens could cause gas. I’ll be more careful in the future when she’s off of the hay only diet.
The only reason I haven’t decided to keep her yet is space. I’ve been slowly giving her more space since I’ve had her. The best I can do now is free roamed in my bed room. Though she mostly stays in her corner, she…[Read more]

Regarding spaying, ideally under a year or a year and a half. The rates of cancer start getting really high when you get to about 3 years old. It’s actually pretty common to find vets that only neuter. The neuter surgery is WAY less invasive, whereas spaying is pretty invasive (having to open the abdominal cavity and remove the ovaries and…[Read more]

That’s great she started eating hay!
Yes I think I would try just going hay only for a little while and see if that helps clear things up. She had such a weird diet when you got her, she might need some time on just hay to get her tummy in order.
4-6 large romaine leaves might also just be a bit too much if fed all at once and the leaves are…[Read more]

I’m so happy things are going well, I was prepared for up to multiple months, but I’m thinking if they keep progressing in the same way they can be moved in together by next week! Starting school with them bonded would be ideal but because it’s online, if they aren’t fully bonded I have lots of time to continue bonding.

I use a ‘hand brush’ – not sure what it is called, a friend gave it to me – and all you have to do is pet the bun and it takes off all the excess fur. Makes grooming fun. 😉 I think she might have got it off of Amazon.

Good point. They haven’t been in this room before, so it is all new to them. I minimized their space a bit more, and so far so good. 🙂 Will keep you posted!

I decided to make a hay feeder the other day (before I just put it on the ground) and ever since that she’s been eating lots of hay. Before she wouldn’t touch Timothy hay so I used orchard grass and now she’ll eat Timothy hay too! Since then I cut out the lemon leaves and I’ve been feeding her about 4-6 large romaine leaves and unlimit…[Read more]
