Bam replied to the topic Injured leg? Stroke? in the forum HOUSE RABBIT Q & A 6 years ago
Rabbits can have strokes. They can also get a parasite called e cuniculi, which affects the central nervous system. Rabbits dont really tend to recover from e cuniculi without treatment, so in this respect it sounds more like a stroke.
Im in the car now (not driving), will write more when I get home!

Okaaaaaay. *Sigh* I’ve warned you, it will be blurry, and Silver will flick her ears at me, OB will thump, and Smokey will pose perfectly! How am I supposed to get a snuggly pic when I have that to work with? LOL 😆

Switching out toys and changing the set-up are definitely good ways to keep him entertained and active, although I would leave his litter box in the corner that he prefers to go in the most. Wishing you a calm bun! 😉

I think I got lucky in that Dorian goes to bed and sleeps pretty much when I do, granted that’s about 1AM to 8am (later morning on weekend, but he usually just goes and finds what food he didn’t eat before and then snacks hay), so maybe just lines up with bunny sleep time. We do a big play session right before and then a bit of snuggles, then feed…[Read more]

I suggest doing this before you have a problem… We didn’t know he was doing it and he cost me $300 in stasis treatment, not to mention the stress of having a sick bunny!

@Dface , have you tried adding to your profile and then using the add media to add them to the thread? Dorian did start following Moink so I can see his image, don’t worry I see past that cute bun exterior!

@HipHopBunny, it seems like he got bored of the toys I had already gotten him. Should I switch them out or something?

They sure do love those pellets! 😉 I hear you, you just can’t stay mad at those furry faces that look up at you so innocently. 😆 For the cage biting you could add in some toys for him to chew, and direct him towards them when he starts biting. Hopefully, he will stop soon!
