I hate to be negative, but the longer you delay the appropriate treatment, the harder it will be to cure.

I also hate to dump a sick rabbit on a rescue, but I do agree with Hazel that there is a clear treatment path here, and someone else might be more willing to do what is needed.

Hunny continues to do poorly. She is barely pooping, and the poops she leaves are small and dark in coloration. She shows no interest in food of any kind, and we’re lucky if we can get more than 5ml of Critical Care per feeding in her, nowadays. Hunny spends a lot of time hiding in her tube.

I am really bothered by my vet. There aren’t any others willing to see him within a 3-4 hour drive and we’d have to drive through the Willits fire to try and get to a different vet that I know is decent.
