Took all three (!) on a car ride together. Popped all three buns in a large plastic tub with hay on the bottom and went on a drive for about 30 min.

Haha. It’s funny how a creature so cute can have so much attitude lol. I know! My mom just keeps going on and on about her eyes. You can’t see in the pictures but they’re a very pretty blue.

I’m so excited to actually meet her in person! We’re just waiting for the rescue to get back to us about timing.

4 weeks is still within the scope of normal for a girl bun to experience hormonal mood swings. The 2.5 seconds after a bag opens is a very good sign though! Keep keeping an eye on appetite and poop, perhaps try a different type of hay to encourage her to eat more hay, since that is so important for both short term and long term health.

I’m sorry there hasn’t been any improvement yet. 🙁  How long before you start on the anti seizure meds? Are they supposed to work right away or do they have to build up in her system for a while?

I don’t think so? Unless you find some other health problem or the vet suggests it? If it does end up being mites, they don’t look too serious from the pictures.

She eats and poops normally, seems pickier with hay and certain veggies more than normal though. She was spayed 3 weeks ago. She is lively enough though if she hears a bag open she’ll be there in 2.5 seconds lol.

How  long has it been since the spay? Girl rabbits often go through hormonal fluctuations with accompanying mood swings for quite som time after a spay. Boys go through a similar phase after a neuter, but it generally lasts a much shorter time in boys.
