Oh also I have another question. Baylor has been chewing on the edges of his plastic litterbox. He tries to push it out from the corner. I’ll post some pics:

Again thank you so much! I do have the connectors so maybe I’ll try those. I’ll have to go get some wood, but I’m sure I could build something for Baylor. Thanks for all of the destroying toy ideas! I’ll have to try some out!

I have also used mesh! You can get what’s called “hardware cloth” at hardware stores, usually in the section with chicken wire. I think I used 1/4″ mesh size and it worked well. It was just more of a pain to deal with and didn’t look as nice. I was intrigued by these grids because they seem easier to deal with and I already use NIC cube grids for…[Read more]

@DanaNM ooh that’s a good idea! Thank you, I wonder if I could purchase a roll of net mesh and somehow figure out how to connect it to the grids if that would work? Hmm 🤔

I was just looking over a slide show by the Ohio House Rabbit Society on bonding and they mentioned “nose guards”, which turn out to just be tiny mesh cube grids!

Seems like they would be very handy, I just ordered a pack for myself!

Well, it definitely seems they backtracked. They were OK with sharing the carrier when I dropped them off, but had to be in separate carriers on the ride home because BJ was tussling with Bonnie. I didn’t get to talk too long to the bonder, but it seems like not much progress was made. She agreed with my assessment that Bonnie is “defensively…[Read more]

Both pellets meet recommended nutrition requirements. I don’t know too much about these brands (not sold where I live), but I think the only real difference is Burgess Excel is “grass”-based and Supreme Science Selective is Timothy-based or alfalfa-based, depending on the formula. Burgess Excel also offers different varieties with added…[Read more]

They can eat them throughout the day. Nothing wrong with that.

In helping you decide, it would be helpful to know what are things that matter to you.

As with many things, its ingredients make it very much a treat, so fine in moderation. It can be helpful to find products similar to it to get a gauge on whether you can expect something to be “good” or “not”.
