I have also used mesh! You can get what’s called “hardware cloth” at hardware stores, usually in the section with chicken wire. I think I used 1/4″ mesh size and it worked well. I was just looking over a slide show by the Ohio House Rabbit Society on bonding and they mentioned “nose guards”, which turn out to just be tiny mesh cube grids!

I want to have a energetic bunny that will have healthy teeth, coat etc and i would like my bunny to be happy with what pellets they are eating thats all i can think of

In helping you decide, it would be helpful to know what are things that matter to you.

As with many things, its ingredients make it very much a treat, so fine in moderation. It can be helpful to find products similar to it to get a gauge on whether you can expect something to be “good” or “not”.
