It might be a good idea to get one with a door in front and on top. You can do what you’re going to try to do and train them to go in, but the top door can be easier to use in the event of an emergency where you need to get a sick and uncooperative rabbit to the vet or something.

It really does depend on the bun. Some people can get away with a 2 foot high pen, while others have to cover their 4 foot pen to be safe. I feel like if it was toxic, you might have seen ill-effects by now? Though I’m not a vet nor know how much your rabbit eats upon chewing.

It is funny… bunny folks tend to realize that bunny poop isn’t gross at all, but I do forget that not everyone feels that way! Maybe he needs some immersion therapy where he has to smash some with his fingers to see that they are just chewed up grass and not smelly or gross? I’m only half kidding!
