So cute!! Now that Louie and Lola are so well settled in and spend all their time together I’m so much less stressed about leaving them alone. When I do cleaning and things they just chill out together and even vacuuming doesn’t faze them when they hang out together. I recently saw some adorable bunnies for adoption at a rescue and adding a third…[Read more]

I started feeding a little bit of rolled oats in the morning . I will feed both my bunnies critical care for a few days now .

Boltz pellets are only available for me online that too with difficulty, even getting hay is not so easy for me , my shipment gets cancelled many times  as hay has to get imported from US to India ( and my hometown is not…[Read more]

Is she having hiccups but I did some reach on the internet and either of the bunny’s had hiccups with their mouth opened I’m a little worried(he is eating pooping and jumping around). And also is it normal for bunny’s pee dry up orange or brown.

I know the frustration! My two girls have impeccable litter habits and will go in their box, no matter where the box is. Bun Jovi on the other hand will poop in his sleep! But then again he’s 12… so I can’t really blame him!

I might have inquired about when he’s going to be neutered… 😀

Since my trio has stalled out (and my trip to Norway is also very uncertain again), I might try him with the group as a quad to see if that helps the dynamic, or date him with Bonnie…

Apparently when the world is insane the solution is to acquire more rabbits?

    I was thinking of…[Read more]

You can absolutely feed him Critical Care twice a day. Rabbits don’t really need grains, as you seem well aware. Rabbits that have difficulty keeping weight on or have lost weight due to illness etc can however benefit from a small amount of rolled oats daily. Vitamin B in moderate doses will probably not be harmful, the body does away with any…[Read more]

Oh ok. I’ll just keep an eye on it then. She doesn’t seem to be in pain – it’s certainly not stopping her from her normal behavior, eating, playing, etc.

Is there any way I can encourage the fur to grow back? I read that the only other thing you can do besides fixing the flooring is to put fur over the bald spot and wrap it with vet wrap.

The same thing happened to my bun. He had clear discharge for about a week, but then it slowly subsided. It might just be dusty hay or something like that, but if it escalates a trip to the vet would be good.

Could be that but my guess is just where he was when the cecals were ready. When my girl eats her cecals she just eats them wherever she is when she gets the signal that they’re ready

Hey, Buddy is doing great at pooping in his litter box now but he is still doing small amounts of cecals out side of his litter box. It seems kinda strange. I have seen some cecals in the litter box. Is this just a nother waiting game or is it normal for them to do some cecals out side of the box so they can eat them? Is there something I can do…[Read more]

Today I again took him to vet for check up , he was doing good from last 5 days . Vet checked him up and told that there is some deficiency  in his food . I informed him what all we are feeding him , then he said to feed him some grains ( GRAINS ?? 🙄)

He prescribed to give vitamin B complex syrup for another 10 days .

    I don’t know what to feed…[Read more]

I don’t think the no touch method works and probably prolongs the stress. My rabbit has never once got in his carry case by choice regardless of what food I put in there. I only pick my rabbit up when I have to, and that’s carry case or nail trimming but to do the carry case I pop it on a table/sofa with the door open And nothing in front of it…[Read more]

Oh that sounds so nice! I think you’re right, you hit the jackpot. Bunnies like yours probably explain toilet-training guides that only have two steps 1) buy litter box , 2) put hay in it. As someone who has messy rabbits I find those guides so frustrating haha. I’m very happy for you though! Hope you’re enjoying getting to know your new bun 😀
