Yeah, it’s just snow peas (i.e. flat pea pods).

Oh yeah they would definitely be kept away from the walls lol! I can’t seem to find water-based wall paint though, only acrylic and latex. 😕

Okay thank you! I thought so about the pea flakes but got confused because I heard fresh peas were okay.

Not sure about the colic drops, but as pinkiemarie said, you want the active ingredient to be Simethicone.

You might not see any of the pieces in her poo, rabbits usually chew things up very well before swallowing.

Yay for snuggles! 😀  You’re getting there. A marathon might be worth a try! 🙂

Well, we haven’t been doing half bad! 😀 They’ve been snuggling A LOT! 😀 There’s still some nipping, but a lot less! 😀

Thank you Dana for that thread, I’ve been reading through it! I love threads like that, built on humor, yet informational! 😆

She sounds like a normal teenage bunny to me. Don’t take it personally. She will settle into her adult personality once she is spayed.

Did the vet say what he is basing this on? Why does he think your bunny has a vitamin deficiency? I agree with Bam, it is quite rare. The vitamin B probably won’t hurt anything, but I’m questioning if it’s going to address the underlying problem. If he is having balance issues, then there are much more likely causes out there than “vitamin deficiency”.

    Yes

And dried pea flakes – no. Fresh snow peas are OK.

Oat tops (seed heads) – yes.

I don’t thinks the colic drops are the same as simethicone or not, but I’m in the US so I may be speaking another language 😉 We have baby simethicone also called baby gas drops or baby gas medicine. Read the label on your drops and if it says simethicone then it is the same thing. Hopefully they can get you some motility meds.

Some bunnies don’t do well with pellets, some don’t well with veggies. It’s a process of elimination unfortunately. I agree with the others, try cutting things out to see if the poopy butt improves.

I haven’t been on much but I wanted to give an update since we are still at it. I’ve been taking Ben and Clover on private dates to my sister’s spare bedroom. It involves a car ride and it’s completely neutral and they’ve been very good the two times we did it. I’ve definitely seen less biting from Clover on the home dates since we started. Wally…[Read more]

No the vets are also under lockdown so we’re all stuck, the vet has told me to call him Monday if Pippin has made it and he may well be able to drop something at my doorstep ☹️

I can see the fur stuck in the paint on the walls now…

Any low VOC, water-based paint should be fine. If you can keep them away from the walls while they are drying and open the windows, it should be fine. I’ve applied paint to the walls in the bunny room before and never had any issues. I haven’t painted the entire room though. It was more of…[Read more]

Okay, when this batch of hay is about at half I’ll see about mixing it with timothy. We’ve given him the same pellets as we always have, the kind without any soy or wheat in it and he’s not always had a poopy bum, but definitely going to cut out sugary treats for now.

I haven’t yet tried bene-bac, but that seems like a cheap enough option that it…[Read more]

If you mean colic drops for babies I have some of that, I can see she’s in discomfort by her breathing and hoping on and off her loo not always having a successful time, the last few poops were slightly bigger, she does have the option of been under covers with me or on top as she keeps alternating…I’ve been sat singing to her ‘you’ve got a f…[Read more]

Was the vet able to remotely prescribe some kind of motility med like cisapride?
