If he already has spurs, he will need a trim. He won’t be able to grind them down with eating.

What does the vet think about anesthesia? Has he had many trims before?

In my mind, he is in enough pain that that he has stopped eating hay, which is very important to his diet. Chronic pain can cause all sorts of other problems as well.

Interesting to hear that he might grow quite big – I’ve been wondering about this too. Sounds as if he’s not got any dwarf in him then.

Completely normal. It can take a few weeks for his hormones to settle down. It will get worse before it gets better, unfortunately.

He is beautiful! I’m going to guess he’s probably a Charlie. From what I understand, Hotots are a rare breed. Aside from the all-white with eyeliner look, Hotots are have guard hairs that give their coat a very distinct “frosty” sheen.

It sounds like he’s going to be a good sized bunny.
