They gave us Enrofloxacin and silver sulfaduazine to put on the cut.

Apple and banana are high in sugar, which can cause tummy upsets in buns if you give too much or they have a sensitive tummy. So it could have been gas discomfort related to the fruit.

You are right in that bunnies aren’t full for that long, and they especially wouldn’t be full from something high in sugar and easily digestible like fruit.

Rabbits GI system work pretty fast, so it’s unlikely “being full” carries over a whole day. More likely Thumper had a little gas discomfort which resolved itself over time.

@bam took her to the vet and lux is super healthy!!!  Doctor thinks it might of been a little cyst maybe and scraped most of it off so I gotta put neosporin on it for a little bit.  Also thinks maybe a tiny infection in the eye so we are on antibiotics for 5 days and probiotics for 5 days. As Dana says, ear tattoos are still done these days, but micro chipping is becoming more and more common for identification purposes. This is because a bun needs to be asleep for the tattoo, but not for microchipping, and because an ear tattoo can become illegible with time.

I second that my buns love the willow wreaths, sea grass mats, and willow baskets from the BB store.
