Decreased appetite is rare with Enrofloxacin. Most rabbits don’t have an digestive problems when taking it, but as Wick said a probiotic wouldn’t hurt anything.

I agree, he probably had a stomachache.

They gave us Enrofloxacin and silver sulfaduazine to put on the cut.

Apple and banana are high in sugar, which can cause tummy upsets in buns if you give too much or they have a sensitive tummy. So it could have been gas discomfort related to the fruit.

You are right in that bunnies aren’t full for that long, and they especially wouldn’t be full from something high in sugar and easily digestible like fruit.

Giving a probiotic about an hour after an antibiotic administration is sometimes a recommendation. There is contention in the field if probiotics actually work in rabbits, but there is no harm in doing it.
