I’m very sorry for your loss 🙁
It sounds like although he wasn’t with you long, you gave him a wonderful and loving home for the short time he was with you. I know I have certainly made mistakes with bunnies, and they do make us better in the future. And even when I did what I could at the time, I always second guess if I could have done more.…[Read more]

whispercalm replied to the topic Where can I purchase F10? in the forum HOUSE RABBIT Q & A 5 years, 8 months ago
Thanks for researching it. I did get some saline for the nebulizer she is terrified of the mist. The sound doesn’t seem to bother her. So, I will turn her pet carrier into a chamber when we need to nebulize and build her rip to getting used to it in short intervals.

Thank you. Yeah I am trying to not beat myself up. But also remember that when I do adopt a new rabbit I need to remember the lessons.

Oh, I am so sorry!! 😥
Please, don’t beat yourself up!! It wasn’t your fault that he got GI Statis, horrible things happen. 🙁 You did more than any of us here could have done, and you stayed by his side until the very end.
Alfalfa doesn’t want to look down and see his beloved friend grieving over him, he wants to see you happy, the person…[Read more]

I only had Alfalfa for a year before I lost him. I just need to tell people who understand rabbits about him. I need someone to witness his life and know who he was.
<p style=”text-align: left;”>The short life of Alexander FalfaI ‘rescued’ Alfalfa from a shelter to help give my bunny Timothy a companion. The first thing I did was to foster…[Read more]

As long as they aren’t fighting I think you’ll get there! Sometimes it seems like one day they just decide to trust each other and things click. 🙂

Lemony replied to the topic Pick out/rotate out items in this spring mix for oxalic acid intake? in the forum DIET & CARE 5 years, 8 months ago
Ok! Good stuff. Yeah I tend to worry about this type of stuff so I’ll probably be switching some of the spinach out for peace of mind, my bun’s bonded lady who passed a few months back had a really sensitive gut so some of the worry is probably residual from her. Thank you 🙂

whispercalm started the topic Question about URI versus Allergy symptoms in the forum HOUSE RABBIT Q & A 5 years, 8 months ago
I am rather confused about Charlie’s symptoms and telling whether we are dealing with an infection or allergy.
Our vet stated that in his experience, most rabbits who have URI show more consistent symptoms such as a more constant discharge throughout the day and sounding more congested in nose. He believed we had her infection cleared up and pr…[Read more]

Since it’s mixed with other things, it’s likely not in a quantity big enough to cause issues. If you are worried, you can always pick out some spinach leaves in general. It’s great that you’re striving for variety, but don’t worry about swapping one for the other. Admittedly, my rabbits usually only get romaine :X

Hi all, I recently transitioned my bunny to eating a spring mix I purchase from the store. I felt this way he would get more variety than the 3 to 4 veggies I was purchasing.
I give him the spring mix with occasional Italian parsley, and now my concern is there is high oxalic acid in his diet. Should I be swapping out the spinach or anything for…[Read more]

It has to do with standardization the of horse racing industry. A race horse starts in various races depending on which year it was born. This means you want a horse with promising lineage to be born as early as possible in the year. If a foal is born late in the year, f ex in December, it turns 1 when its barely a month old. This of course…[Read more]
