Sneezing without discharge can be due to dusty hay or other types of dust in the environment. You can “de-dust” hay by placing some of it on a towel, then pick up what you can with your hands. The hay dust and chaff will be left on the towel, which you can then shake out outdoors.
Its not uncommon for young animals to get a bit of eye crust at…[Read more]

Things are basically the same. I’m definitely going to have to go to a vet. I’m glad they’re doing curbside services because otherwise I would be scared to go inside.

Aside from the rough carpet, he doesn’t tick any of the boxes for what typically causes sore hocks. No thumping or anything, haha. Poor Bun Jovi. His ‘tude wasn’t very helpful for him.
The rough carpet has been completely covered by either fleece or with fleece covering half-inch memory foam. Again, they are still in the two hidey houses he…[Read more]

Hmmm, it doesn’t look too bad, but it does look a bit red. And pretty unusual for a dwarf to get sore hocks! Has be been thumping a lot? Bun Jovi has a callus from thumping so much. His are definitely in the “keep an eye on it” category.
Does he do well with beds? Maybe just having a softer place to rest will help. I also wonder if those double…[Read more]

I also think that he just needs more time to adjust to your schedule, so doing things that will encourage the routine of being more active before you go to bed is great, including timing feedings.

First of all, beautiful bunnies!
If I understand correctly, it looks like you put them together immediately after castration? If so, then I think that is likely the problem. Rabbits hormones fluctuate for weeks after spaying and neutering. They likely went together well right away because they had residual hormones and might not have been feeling…[Read more]

He could definitely still be settling in and getting used to the schedule, but encouraging to him to come out with some pellets might help. 🙂

I I became Warren’s mom in July of this year, he was 8 weeks old. In October, one of his female littermates was returned to the rabbitry he came from, so we adopted her to be his friend for life. I kept them separated by an x-pen until we could get them fixed, they got along great, slept side by side, so I started giving them supervised time…[Read more] -

Hello!
I’m a new rabbit owner and have a 4 month old Lionhead. I’ve noticed lover the past 2 weeks he has started sneezing way more than I noticed before (I work from home so I hang out with him all day) and I hear him sneeze at least 6 times a day, compared to never having heard him sneeze at all prior to this starting. I already did a lot of…[Read more]
