I am SUPER HAPPY right now! I was FINALLY able to update the buns area so they can get more room! I know they need more toys but I’m out of money. 😅

I think small spaces can contribute to sore hocks right? Maybe increase her space with an x-pen and use memory foam mats or the vet bed mats so her feet can be cushioned and can bend. (Correct me if I’m wrong about more space for sore hocks).

Staphylococcus aureus is the name of what they found in the culture. The vet said the Sulfatrim should be able to get rid of it. It’s already pretty cleared up but we’re giving it to him for another 7 days to try to make sure it’s all gone. :/ Hopefully it works.

Of course!! Cheesepuffs is asleep but he is a robo and he has some lil brows too 🙂
Coconut looks very offended because I shook his bedding a bit but here he is! He’s a hybrid of WW and Campbell 🙂

As for her fur, she may simply be a rabbit that sheds like that. My boy Wally loses fur in big clumps and that’s just normal for him. Although she isn’t used to being petted, if she needs groomed I would suggest trying one of those glove brushes. They don’t work super well but should be less scary.
Are you able to just hang out on the floor with her?

Hi all,
I’ve been a rabbit owner for around 5 years now. I have fostered and cared for rabbits with a variety of behavior histories and dental issues. I just recently took on my second malocclusion/bone spur bunny that is getting her teeth trimmed and all other needed vet care next week. However, this poor little thing clearly was not given an…[Read more]

Moonlightbunny66 replied to the topic Help! Rabbit won’t stop digging constantly in the forum BEHAVIOR 5 years, 7 months ago
Do you think she would dig at a rug or a hay mat? You could try something like that and watch to see if she still digs. And yeah I would probably block off under the bed if she continues digging.

You’ll have to watch and see if she wants to chew the tape lol. I’ve caught mine with pieces of tape in their mouth so I took it all away. There’s wall corner guards you can get to cover the edges things she might chew.
Is she spayed? I think some people use vinyl flooring but someone else could offer better advice on that since I’ve never u…[Read more]

pinkiemarie replied to the topic Romaine lettuce in the forum DIET & CARE 5 years, 7 months ago
Romaine gets recalled several times a year due to ecoli, typically during the colder months. There are only about 2 farms in the US that grow it this to it of year in Yuma, AZ and another one that I can’t remember where it is. There seem to be serious and reoccurring issues near these farms with contamination from nearby animal farms. I never saw…[Read more]

You’re doing such a good job with him, I’m sorry the whole thing is so stressful. 🙁 Maybe they can find a trainer that works without an e-collar, but like you said, it seems to be the go-to training method. I don’t use the e-collar the “normal” way, Otis is too soft for that. But he knows the beep means “come” and the vibrate means “stop what…[Read more]

Some type of carpets can be abrasive. I had that problem last fall with my bun. I covered the abrasive carpet in the places my bun frequently uses as “roads”. I used vet bed mats, but puzzle foam mats would work too or perhaps just fleece blankets.
I wrapped my bun’s hocks, but that may not work if the bun is very set on grooming its hocks. It…[Read more]
