    Why can’t chinchillas have it?

If the product hasn’t shipped you can cancel it, and I think returns are free but you’ll have to message them.

I do not believe so but if your really worried about that yoga mats can also be a really good option.

Alright, I ordered some Garden Select for my rabbit and the Garden Select for chinchillas for my Pedro.

Only to find out that chinchillas can’t have Garden Select.

    Does Chewy do returns?

Would anything leak through the cracks between the mats?

It sounds like something has disrupted their bond. Sometimes this happens with bunnies that were together from birth but maybe haven’t gone through the formal bonding process. Have there been any changes in the household, such as new pets or people? I would check them very thoroughly for injuries to see if anything worse has happened without you…[Read more]

    Hi all.
    New guy here.

We adopted two Netherland Dwarf brothers from a litter of 8 six months ago.
They were neutered in early fall, and have always gotten along. They have been together all day, everyday since birth. They share a two-story hutch and during the day they have a 4’x5’ play area to hang out in.
A few times a day our kids play wit…[Read more]

Thanks! Well I don’t have the cat anymore (but I did think the similar markings were cute and thought it was meant to be!) Now have 2 buns and still appreciate your advice and help with that bonding!

Congrats! I love his markings! He and your cat are color coordinated 🙂

I would say it sounds like he likes you, but you should play ‘hard to get’! 😉 And stop trying to pick him up or force cuddles on him. Most bunnies as a rule don’t like that, and it’s very hard to train them to actually like it. My bunnies all like it best when I spend time on the floor with them, and they all have very specific times of day when…[Read more]

Ah, I see. That’s very hard regarding the teeth. Does he tend to “bounce back” after his trims very quickly? I think that would also factor into my decision personally. Some bunnies snap right back to eating normal, other’s take days of recovery and practically go into stasis. All of those things affect quality of life.

    The treatment that @LBJ10…[Read more]

Yes, you most commonly hear about the procedure being used on dogs with glaucoma. The Missouri HRS has an article that does mention it briefly: https://mohrs.org/rabbit-eye-health/

There are also some scientific articles out there that mention using it. However, there do not appear to be any studies. At least none that I know of. As with many…[Read more]

Hi guys, just a little update.

My vet suggested it would be fine as long as they can’t eat it (we have had vinyl tiles in the past and they’ve never been able to lift it,  if it was on the base of the cage). One of the things, I should have mentioned in the original post is that Peri unfortunately has chronic problems (teeth, gum infections and…[Read more]

Hmm, I believe my vet said something about this but that he’d never seen it used on rabbits before, he said something about only using it in dogs. Any chance you might have a link or info about where you read about that? (And he is already blind, so I’m not worried about that!)
