You’re welcome! Yes the poop and pee wars can be challenging but once they are bonded it should go back to normal 🙂

Thank you very much for replying! I’ll just keep trying to be patient in hopes once I get her fixed and them fully bonded things will finally change☺️

I’ve been wondering if the average life span of rabbits would be higher of only people who care for them properly are included.
I hope the move goes well, keep us posted. A big van and everyone together will hopefully be enough to keep it bearable for everyone.
My cat did those things too! He would act like he wanted to try and bond with Elmer…[Read more]

LBJ10 replied to the topic Head tilting upwards? in the forum BEHAVIOR 5 years, 7 months ago
Does he always look up? Because in the video, it just looks like normal eating hay behavior. Sometimes the strands of hay are long/tangled and rabbits will give a tug with their head while trying to eat it.

i attached a video of my bunny above, eating hay. He has ear mites and i was wondering if this could be a head tilt resulting from an ear infection? His head is not tilting to one side, but is instead almost making it look like he’s just looking up. It has only happened 4 times during the day. If it is head tilt, what can I do to help him??

The mini rex is about 3 or 4 months old now. I think Im going to make a vet appointment anyway so they can check what sex it is and possibly schedule the surgery! Really hoping I can get these two bonded once they are both fixed.

Hmm well my Husband has been moving some things around the house maybe he is worried we will move the desk too?
He is eating and using the litter box normally. He is a bigger rabbit maybe he is having some joint or teeth pain I’ll give him a once over.

Yes I think we are going to rent a van so we have lots of space for crates and good AC! I think they will be ok… bunnies are far more adaptable creatures than we sometimes give them credit for!
My cat ignores them for the most part. Sometimes he tries to eat their hay and they chase him off, or he’ll do that thing where he lays down and then…[Read more]

Remind me which pair were the original duo? I would keep that pair together.
The situation you’re describing is one of the reasons I didn’t push forward with my trio, I was afraid Bonnie would be the odd one out and the others wouldn’t fully accept her.
With the injuries you have described I don’t think more bonding sessions at this time would…[Read more]

Well, as much as I hate to say it, I don’t know if they are going to work. 😥 OB’s scab has gotten bigger, and she has subjected herself to Silver’s bullying. What kills me, is that I don’t think Silver even realizes what she’s doing. 🙁 I really don’t want to separate them, but I don’t want OB to get hurt because of that decision. And the…[Read more]
