I dont give my bun blackberry twigs because they have those very sharp thorns. The thorns are an adaptation that deters wild animals from eating the twigs. If you can shave them I think that is brilliant.

Some buns also like recovery food more if it’s mixed with some canned (unsweetened) pumpkin, so you could give that a shot as well.

My bunnies def have preferences for different types of recovery foods. The most popular is the Oxbow apple banana, but some of my buns like the sherwood recovery food more. My vet recommended GenTeal eye drops. They worked pretty well. I didn’t have to use them anymore after a while. Facial paralysis can affect everything on that side including the ear, eye, cheek, and lip.
