Apparently Cooper can’t wait to go, as he jumped his pen this morning and was binkying around the room! Glad he at least got some zoomies out before being in a carrier all day. I had made their pens smaller to make it easier to break down today, and he is NOT pleased about it.

I think smaller diameter and deeper would work! There are crocks that mount to the side of a cage or pen that fit that description.

🙂 I bet he would like that 🙂 You could even make a tunnel leading to a hideout in that area for him, and put a sign on it that says “no humans allowed” lol

Foot nipping is often a hormonal thing, as males will nip lightly when they are thinking about mounting.

Looks like he warmed up to me again, and got back to his nipping. Yesterday he got so brave, that he would consistently nip my foot, while I was gently pushing him away, but he just kept doing it. Maybe you’re right and that’s because of his puberty. Will see what the vet says next week.

Thanks, @DanaNM, helpful as usual 🙂 I ended up giving him access to that area. It seems like he’s enjoying too much going through a narrow space. I should probably build him a tunnel.

@LBJ10 hi! That’s a good idea! The bowl’s diameter is quite big but it isn’t very deep. Because it’s quite wide he might be prone to getting his ears in it more? So maybe I could get one that has a smaller diameter but larger depth, so he still has the same amount to drink on every day. I could trial that to see if it would work. Does that sound good?

I hope your friends are just teasing you with this, I wouldn’t want to be friends with someone who actually felt that way, forget about dating them. Even if this is their honest opinion they should keep it to themselves. It’s not something you say to a friend.

I’ve never had more than 1 bunny at a time, but it’s never caused any issues with dating for me. I’ve definitely never had anyone think they are gross or anything like that. Some bunnies just take time. It doesn’t mean there is anything wrong. They are all unique in their own way. He’s young, so I’m sure he is discovering his independence right now.

Can you try a smaller water bowl? Like one that mounts?

He looks like a normal, young, lean bunny to me.
