    Talking to them has proven to be a bit difficult. Its a mulit generational home and I have spoken with the daughter who is about 20-30 years old. But she doesn’t seem to want anything to do with the bunnies she just says they are her fathers. Her father just ignores me.

    At first Koopa was super scared he even screamed when i picked him up to…[Read more]

    Awe poor little thing. Run over not even buried. Ouch. If they didnt want the buns they could have gotten a good home for them. Oo the one you rescued is adorable. Lucky bun.

    For those of you who dont know me. I used to be here all the time. My little Cotton Boo McChew was a fiesty spunky fellow with attitude. I sure miss him. His kidneys were failing and had to be pts. I couldnt look at another bunny without crying. Am all better now. Cotton was 10 and a half.

    Cotton did visit me. I saw a transparent Cotton run…[Read more]

    Netherland dwarfs are small and adorable. Some are high strung others cuddly. A tendency to malloclusion issues. Their checks are so fat. Cute. Their jaws are shortened to get that cute baby bunny look. Not all nethies have malloclusion issues tho. Angoras are usually calm and cuddly. Require lots of grooming. Can get biggish. Hotots are on the…[Read more]

    Would love to share a picture of raven but my files are too big.

    Oh. I had a knes replacement july 1st last year. Doing good.  Riding bike again. Cold out. Kind of hurts. Dr said yes theres a lot of metal in there. Even gave me a plastic card stating i had the replacement cuz it will set off metal detectors. Lol. How about that. Lol. Bionic woman.

    Cool you have 3 bunbuns. Raven was a kitty at the vets office I adopted. She was described as the one with the short tail. Actually it’s 3 inches shorter than usual. Can’t tell now it’s all puffy lol. A medium haired domestic. Her name was raven. I knew of liked it so I kept it. She was 2 months. Already spayed. Microchipped. She was 3 Feb 18

    Oh yes. Buns and their hay. Was some getting used to clean floors after Cotton passed. Felt like something was missing. Now it’s Raven kitty’s hair from her  tailg getting stepped on. Lol. She has a really bushy tail.

    Ah good to know! What would you recommend for the flooring? I used coroplast in the past but my bun used to try to eat it so I’d prefer something else! Though I know every bun is different.

    I have seen people use them with success. Be mindful that they cannot be used as weight-bearing in a set-up (i.e. a floor); only as walls. Something to keep in mind is which side is facing inside. Grids I have with a similar style, the material wraps over the grid structure and is sort of “stamped” to the other side (see sample image below), so…[Read more]

    Barney does like the cardboard cat scratcher that I have. He also enjoys climbing the cat tree. 😁😂

    @DanaNM

    They’re called “DIY Plastic Modular Fence” online! I’m not sure if I’m allowed to send pictures. My idea was to do two rows of them vertically so the bun can’t jump out or chew them.

    Oh that’s good to know! His foster mom says that he doesn’t chew furniture or wires so far (though I’ll still bunny proof to be safe!) He’s mostly one to dig carpet but that’s not a huge concern with me! He is litterbox trained for pee but is still learning with poops. The only thing is I believe his foster mom says she uses cat litter…[Read more]

    Great, glad you are feeling better. 🙂

    I think it’s good to ease into free-roam. I like to let new bunnies get settled in their main space for at least a few days to help them get organized with their litter box and feel more at home. Then you can gradually allow free-roam time and see where you need to up your bunny-proofing game. Some bunnies…[Read more]
