You can search our site through Google by searching: site:binkybunny.com _______
…. And the_____ would be your search term!
It looks like hair ball goo is a cat product, so a big no-no on that, I’d say. The best thing to do is ensure you’re grooming your rabbit during those heavy molts so you’re preventing it from eating too much fur. Gr…[Read more]

Sorry if this has been addressed, I didn’t see a search button…
Since Walter has longer hair, would hairball goo be something I should be giving him? If so, how often?
Thanks in advance. Y’all Rock!

Glad to hear things are looking up for both of you.
I was gonna say, in response to your initial post that animals bring happiness!😃
If you find yourself feeling down and having a hard time coping, set aside 10 minutes every day that you simply sit and pet her, if she’s a touchy feely bun, or just deep breathe and watch her be her silly self. …[Read more]

An atypical gait can be a sign of EC, but I wouldn’t say all rabbits suffering from hind limb weakness do not hop. EC is a confusing ailment and it can manifest in many different ways. Symptoms can include head tilt, seizures, hind limb weakness, incontinence, and uveitis or cataracts. There have been bunnies on here that suffered from a bunch of…[Read more]

I wish there were some emergency appointments but everyone I called has a long wait. Even to get back in with my old vet is over a week. I don’t think they consider this enough of an emergency. They are some busy people!

The vet said that EC usually causes them to walk the legs instead of hop and he is hopping with them. Have you ever known that to be true?

He was neutered whenever he was supposed to be. I can’t remember what age. He is 2and a half right now. I called the vet two times to see if they would prescribe some pain meds and a dr was supposed to call me back but hasn’t.

Sorry I am still figuring out how this page works and replied in the wrong one! Thanks so much for your input. I am going to check out that site on disabilities. I don’t mind putting him in the litter box every few hours but it’s frustrating when I check on him and he has gone on the floor in between. I have cut out the side of the litter box and…[Read more]
