I’m not too worried about this type of litter. In the 5+ years I’ve used it this is the first time this has happened. Just gotta be more diligent about cleaning I guess… sucks to feel like I can’t open windows anymore though.

Unfortunately it’s already summer here in Florida so flies of all kinds are out in full force. 🙃 Yaaaay

Oh will have to remember the lavender idea! Not been an issue, but in the summer I do have times when the fruit flies are a tad abundant.

I meant to mention, I’ve noticed he’s been breathing a little louder at times for like 2 seconds and then he’s quiet again. I wonder if it’s the art art of a bacterial infection? He recently went through a lot of stress (moving). I’m just wondering if I need to see a vet ASAP

I have a balcony and he has some pots with mint, parsley, grass or whatever cheap fast growing greens (sometimes he nibbles daintily , but often he just eats the whole plant 😀 ). @ALRyder little buns must be extra challenging! At least easy to scoop in your case. I have never heard of many bunnies liking to be picked up!

Yes I think we moved to the living room too fast, and it probably wasn’t neutral enough.

They seem to be mirroring each other quite a bit now that they are living side by side in their pens, and we have been swapping the litters, hidey boxes and toys every couple of days.

I dont think rabbits need extra potassium. You wouldn’t be grinding stuff in the mortar anyway.

I think it could be difficult to clean, like LBJ says. A rough surface is always difficult to clean because the roughness vastly increases the surface area.

I also found some flea medication specific for rabbits. I didn’t know you could give them medication intended for dogs and cats.
