Well, I spoke too soon, I’ve heard her sneeze a couple times now and back to occasionally honking when she’s eating or sniffing for something. On the bright side though, it’s definitely helping as it’s significantly reduced compared to before, so I’ll consider it a win nonetheless! As her sneezing is due to damage in her nose, I knew the likely of…[Read more]

Weekend update: We stayed in the non neutral space overnight. It was bigger and they were more themselves. Forgot to mention I did put them in a carrier yesterday and put them on the dryer while running instead of car for a few minutes, maybe not long enough but didn’t seem to change anything. Also noticed Pancake seemed to stop head mounting…[Read more]

It sounds like they are doing great! Good job!
My often do the “head wars” with the nudging that sometimes leads to grooming, sometimes cuddling, sometimes they just part ways. As long as it doesn’t lead to a scuffle it’s nothing to worry about 🙂

I wonder if you could pad those areas with some extra fur groomed from him (or another bun)?

I would have done the same thing! No harm in treating for both. It can take some time for the EC treatment to work but hopefully she starts feeling better soon! It does sound like you caught it pretty early so I bet he will feel better soon.

Spaying should really help with this! It does take some time to settle but it should get better. Would it be possible to block off the couch with an x-pen so she can still exercise in the meantime? Or at least attach another pen to her enclosure so she can have a bit more space in the meantime.

I’m glad they are doing so great! Any precautions don’t hurt, better to be as safe as possible. Mine seem to nudge each other a lot/ put their head down before grooming but not always. Sometimes spontaneous like a greeting or just back and forth when they are laying together. Sounds like the running away after zoomies was residual playing, or j…[Read more]

Update… boys have been together a full 48 hours and things have been great. No issues that I can see. I think I am still goi g to do one more night because I am so nervous. The two things I want to ask and be sure about before move in….
Will they always nudge before grooming? Or do they just start grooming without laying head under chin?…[Read more]

OMG Wick and Fable, that photo is hilariously pathetic! Awww.
Azerane, I hope Apollo feels better soon.

Apollo was a bit off again this evening so he’s had another dose of metacam. I went back and flicked through today’s camera footage to discover he didn’t eat any pellets and Luna single-handedly ate all the pellet meals by herself, that’s a total of 3/4 cup of pellets, lol. Will be interesting to see what she weighs tomorrow 🤣
Checked yesterday’s…[Read more]

Hi! I’ve had my one-year-old bunny, Ricee, for about half a year now. I’m a college student and she lives in my dorm with me. She’s super sweet and would cuddle up with me every single night. When I’m not home or during the night, I keep her in her enclosure, which is just a typical playpen you’d find on Amazon. She has her litterbox with hay,…[Read more]

So now I decided to let them out of the closet into the bathroom that connects to one of their areas. The mounting seemed to be under control where Snoopy could get her to stop. I won’t leave them unsupervised yet but they are confusing me! They are playing around together, kinda ignoring. One mount attempt Snoopy chased her away but not too mean.…[Read more]

LBJ10, Apollo basically never used to stop shedding, he used to have two major sheds every year that kind of just rolled into each other, Luna was a quick couple week shed and then done. Last year Apollo didn’t have his normal shed pattern, and I’m not sure Luna shed much if at all, so maybe that’s why or if it’s just age, health issues or a…[Read more]

You’re definitely doing the right thing treating for both. I’ve even been told that the E.c test requires two seperate blood tests a week apart to compare the titre levels. No time to wait for that so going straight to treatment is really the best option in my opinion.
E.c can be tricky and present in many different ways, it also usually gets…[Read more]
