One of my bunnies, Penelope, has been indoor only (never on wires and has a huge enclosure) since I got her at a few months old. I have trimmed her claws semi-regularly, but she has had curling dew claws since I got her. The older she gets (6 years old now), the worse they curl into her pads, even when I clip them 2x/month. I am worried they cause…[Read more]

Thank you for getting back to me again! That’s good to hear – I will keep doing what I’ve been doing with them (stick with the bathroom instead of the tub for now and lots of petting when they’re together).

I’m sorry to hear about your sweet Masha, SweetPotato. It sounds like you very much cared for her and loved her very much.

This particular rainbow bridge post is older, so you’re likely not to get a response from the users. I welcome you to create your own topic so active users can learn and see more about Masha.

My sweet bunny Masha passed 3 days ago. What amazes me is that she was also 7, a girl, and died from GI Stasis! She was a beautiful grey, and had white on her stomach, paws, and neck. I feel bad because ever since we got out dog, Duke, we haven’t been spending as much time with her. I would do so much just to have 1 more day with her. I miss you…[Read more]

It’s OK! Some days are better than others– what’s most important is not ending on that “bad” note, so it’s good that they were calm when bringing them back to the bonding area.

Haha ok, they’ve been so good so I took them upstairs to see if they could run off some energy. I took all of their toys and their mini maze out so nobody would have anything to claim but the space and man were they not ready lol they got about two minutes of really good exercise though 😆 They were instantly calm when I brought them back to…[Read more]

Yes.  I sure hope so.  I rescued a baby bunny from a local SPCA and am being extremely careful with her.  He is allowed to go outside, but only in my hands and before the mosquitos come out.  She has her own little bunny harness to keep her safe.  She is a funny girl.  Runs from me when in the house and acts like she is scared of every…[Read more]

Oh man! I tell ya, bunnies definitely show you how high they can jump when there is another bunny around!

I just had a little scare this morning because I accidentally left a baby gate open when I let Cooper out. Of course he runs right upstairs and got QUITE the telling off by Bun Jovi.

Food aggression in bonded pairs is not an uncommon problem, but it can be very frustrating! If it doesn’t escalate and they calm down once they have their food, then it isn’t a huge issue.

There are a few threads here on this that might give you some ideas (there are more too, if you search the forum for “food aggression bonded pair” there are…[Read more]

Glad you got some into her! Bam is totally right, sometimes even just a tiny bit can help them perk up and start eating on their own!

Wick & Fable replied to the topic Health question. How do I know if my rabbit is pregnant. in the forum HOUSE RABBIT Q & A 5 years, 3 months ago

As a reminder (to all), the topic of intentional breeding is prohibited on these forums. Because of this, many Binkybunny users (including myself) are not very knowledgeable about pregnancy.

From the little I know, you won’t really be able to tell if a rabbit is pregnant until later in the pregnancy (similar to human females; signs take time to…[Read more]

It’ss absolutely great that she’s eaten a tiny bit of hay by herself and even produced some poop! It’s very promising.

It’s also great that she took a little bit of the CC. Even the smallest amount can perk a bun up so she gets enough energy to start eating. Its completely normal to get more CC on you and the furniture than into the bun the first…[Read more]

Hello. Sorry for another question so soon. My bunny keeps getting rounder. How to I know if she is pregnant? I felt her tum and it was soft and mushy. I felt no balls (poop) or anything else. Maybe I did it wrong. What are earily signs 6-10 days and so on. I’m just worried.
