Someone is excited about his date tomorrow. Tater on the other hand is more excited about his nanner and won’t come out of his box for a picture.

His name makes me chuckle every time I say it. Spud.
I’ve bonded my fair share of buns over the years I always love it even if it is a stressful bond I know it is worth it in the end.
Lol I LOVE BBFFL! I’m using that from now on.

I am going to start the bonding process between these two tomorrow. I am NERVOUS!
They have been side by side in their enclosures for nearly a week now. They like to lay as close as possible and even shared a piece of bell pepper through the bars.
I am going the laundry basket route tomorrow as it is what kickstarted the bond between Tater and…[Read more]

She’s very young…. bunnies usually stay with their siblings till 8 weeks. So remember she is just a baby if she is actually only 6 weeks old.
If she is a bit older than you think, then she may be getting hormonal, but that doesn’t usually occur until around 12 weeks. She also could have a urinary tract infection, as dribbling urine can be a…[Read more]

I usually just put one in their pen, but some bunnies do seem to like them more when wrapped in a towel.

We rescued our bunny 2 weeks ago. She is currently a 1.5-month-old dwarf-lop. The first week was fine, she was bonding really well with everyone and would occasionally poop and pee outside of her cage. She is by no means potty trained yet, but her peeing habits have gotten really bad in the past 3 days. As soon as we’d put her on us, she would pee…[Read more]

The HRS has a links to vets in Canada on their page: https://rabbit.org/vet-listings/
Maybe that will help?

When it comes to frozen bottles, what do you do with them? Do you wrap them in a blanket first or just lay them out?

There are lots of handy tips here: https://binkybunny.com/infocategory/cooling-tips/
My buns seem to really like ceramic tiles when it’s hot, more so than frozen bottles. Bottles last a lot longer though. They also like to lay in front of the fan. 🙂

Do you have a blacklight handy? Ringworm will fluoresce under a UV light.

Hello,
I was hoping someone could recommend a good vet to get my female lionhead rabbit (about 10 months) spayed without breaking the bank. I have found the average so far to be close to $700 Canadian and was wondering if someone knew a cheaper option or some suggestions. I’m willing to travel a fair bit if cost is cheaper outside the city. I’m…[Read more]
