Thank you so much for the tips! Guess I’m lucky the stains are at least not visible haha

Thanks for the update, sounds like a much better setup! I agree things have likely been peaceful due to the fact that she is still a baby, along with the hormones.
FYI: Chai also needs to be spayed and given a few weeks for hormones to settle before bonding. Even once Frankie is neutered her hormones will still cause issues.

Overnight in the living room went well! We still aren’t back to flopping together or anything, but they laid together some again, hung out a lot, lots of running around together in a good way, etc. I didn’t see anything negative. Minimal mount attempts and nips. Overnight Pancake slept in a shelf on my TV stand that she likes away from Snoopy lol.…[Read more]

Flooring is really tricky for buns! I have a few “diggers”. What I ended up with is foam mats covered by a sheet of vinyl flooring, and then fleece blankets on top. They do still dig and chew at the fleece, but it is safer than carpet. Ingesting either carpet or fabric would not be good, but if a bit is ingested the fleece is less likely to cause…[Read more]

Unfortunately couch and bed peeing are a common problem. 🙁 Since you can’t block off the couch, I think your best bet is to get a water-proof couch blanket or protector. This would at least protect your couch and could be washed easily. There are a number of them on the market now, often geared towards dogs. I know on beds some people have had…[Read more]

Hii! I have two free roamers and they’ve formed a bad habit of marking the couch, usually the spots I sat most recently so I understand this to be territorial. They’re both spayed and neutered and they’re good with the litterbox otherwise. Biggest problem about it is I can never catch them doing is because it always happens sometime at night while…[Read more]

Thought I’d share a pic of the incredibly high-maintenance fella who feels good enough to flip his plate around. Also I remember being told something I can put on his foot sores to heal them, like a medicine, but I don’t remember what that is.

I know a lot of people were concerned with my buns behavior. I have two intact bunnies of opposite genders in the same room. They seemed like they were bonding but y’all informed me they were just eager to mate and it was dangerous especially with their size difference. They were finding their ways into each other’s enclosures despite my best…[Read more]

Thank you for all that information!
It there any chance you can share examples of the big reconstituted wood mesh toys you have?
I also moved to and she was a gift from my fiancé. I have another bun named Cas who was denied boarding when I flew to where I am now. We’re in the process of having him come up here. So she should have a bun friend…[Read more]

We are now in the living room. There have been bunny acrobatics! Like binkying over each other and everything. Otherwise she still tries to mount so I’m expecting it to go about the same, so far nothing extreme. Everytime they almost settle and cuddle one gets up for one reason or another and they end up resting apart. Both have groomed the other…[Read more]

Hello!
She is a beautiful bunny. Bunnys can be very destructive my nature. Is she spayed? Intact buns can be more destructive, sometime this sorts the issue
You mentioned she gets hay in the morning, is this topped up throughout that day so it is unlimited? She could be chewing if she’s looking for extra hay maybe.
Many buns enjoy a dig box and…[Read more]

Hello, I’m looking for some help and advice for my new bunny, Butters. She is a 1 year old standard rabbit. She’s been with us for a little over a month.
When we aren’t home or can’t watch her, Butters stays in her cage which is 5 ft by 6 ft and is 2 ft in height. First we had some of those foam puzzle mats on the floors but she ended up ripping…[Read more]

Kiwi: This is an old post. We ask members to not reply to old threads, it is unlikely that the original posters are still active on the forums.
I do happen to know, though, that the bun Bombur who is mentioned in the thread is still around, he’s an old man now 🙂
Please start a thread of your own on this topic. EC is a topic that (sadly) never…[Read more]
