If she had been sick recently I would suggest getting her to the vet asap to confirm whether it’s actually diet related or not!

OMG – @pinkiemarie, thank you so much. Her diet consists of unlimited orchard grass hay, veggies, pellets, and 1 0r 2 treats per day. I was a little surprised to see Tater doing the grooming as he’s definitely asserted himself as the “alpha” bunny. But he groomed Spud for a good five minutes.

Her Spix is part of a breeding program. I will ask if I can take a picture of him. He is gorgeous. I’d never heard of them and thought she just had a really cool-looking blue parrot. My dad had one for a long LONG time. He rescued him from an abuse situation. He was an amazing bird. I grew up with birds and wish my landlord would let me have one permanently.

It sounds like cecal dysbiosis and it can be serious if it isn’t treated. Can you give us a breakdown of her diet including any treats? This is usually diet related but can have other underlying causes as well.

Please keep in mind that rabbits can’t breathe through their mouth so you need to keep it’s nostrils clean until you get can the issue treated.
