Aaw, Lollipop is such a cute name! Don’t panic about getting her spayed – sure it really is scary, but hopefully everything will turn out okay! ♥

Honestly I’m not sure if this is possible because rabbits have their own schedule! But my one suggestion that you might try is dimming the lights at the time you want him to play. Rabbits enjoy being in low light, it makes them feel safe, so maybe he’s just starting play time in the middle of the night because it’s finally dark enough for him to…[Read more]

So here’s the story, I have been looking for a Holland lop breeder since we have no shelters with rabbits in my area and they’re seen as outside barn animals here. I found a purebred Holland lop breeder that I I really like but figured out just now that it is an acquaintance of a sorta kinda friend and I’m not sure how awkward it’ll be for me t…[Read more]

yes, we went to a exotic vet. I’m not sure what really happen because I wasn’t there

I would discuss with your friend finding a vet who is perhaps more experienced with treating rabbit URIs. Is your friend seeing an exotic vet? The ideal is a rabbit-experienced exotic vet. Traditional dog/cat vets do no have the specialized education to treat rabbits effectively.

For what I know, the medication made it worse for him. Yes they took him to the vet, I think they didn’t really do much, but give him medication for his diarrhea.

Yes, you should definitely seem some kind of improvement after a few days. Obviously, it takes longer for the infection to completely go away, but you should see some progress in the meantime.
Do your friend manage to get the bunny back to the vet?

Hello. Update: This has been Ernesto’s third day on antibiotics due to his URI. I still have not noticed any changes. Still sneezing and with some nasal discharge. Good news: super active, incredibly happy, binkying nonstop, flopping by my side and eating like a little pig. Guess those are good signs. Hope he makes it! 🤞

Too adorable!
When I first got my bridge bun Yohio, many years ago, he once flopped somewhat like that. And it scared me so much that I posted here on BB and asked if he’d had some sort of seizure 🤣🤣🤣

There can be some ups and downs. As long as it isn’t escalating then some nipping is OK. Rabbits nip each other to communicate, light nipping even happens in bonded pairs.
Just keep on monitoring! Sometimes changing up the location (to a new neutral spot) can also help when you get in a rut.

Love the flop! Too cute with his little mouth and teeth visible!
I don’t think I have ever seen Dorian flop like that and he’s a big flopper.
