Hi everybody i
I was looking for a friend for my one-year-old neutered male bunny, and I was wondering whether you could bond two neutered males of the same age without them ripping each other apart because they may have “stray” hormones. Both males have been neutered a few months ago.

Hi.
I reached out and spoke to someone from a rabbit rescue and they said that from the photos the bunnies look bonded or at least close so I should go ahead with the 48 hours and see how it goes.
I guess I can always separate them long term then if it doesn’t work out and have them play together when supervised.
Next week I will plan to spend t…[Read more] -

Hi there! This is Pepita. She’s my best bun!
She has been doing her seasonal molt thing (we live in Virginia US) but this morning as we were having a bit of apple for breakfast treats I noticed a weird undercoat patch.
Upon further inspection I found a bald spot on her left hip. No dander so I’m assuming not mites. Not scabby or wet or ooz…[Read more]

Hello 🙂
Thx so much for sharing your story! I couldn’t find much online, so was really curious what others had experienced. My dog is eating and playing a bit more, so I think things are improving, but I’ll of course continue to give her lots of love. It’s actually nice in a way to see that Clover really did have such an impact, and my ‘lil…[Read more]

I’m so sorry for your loss. Dogs can certainly grieve! I think most animals can (elephants will even die of a broken heart 😢)! I think part of it is confusion since their daily routine is disrupted and their friend is not there. My cat was essentially bonded to my bunny — they would groom each other, sleep together, play together, etc. my bun…[Read more]

Hi there! First of all, im sorry you’re being involuntarily admitted. I don’t know your struggles but I was in a similar position when I was a teen. I hope you know your family has the best of intentions and want you to be health and happy! I don’t have experience with service animals or being away from my bun for an extended period of time, but I…[Read more]

Ok my friends, I have another question for you!
as background, Wolfie and Tina are doing well overall. For two days in a row we were together for 2 hr dates with no mounting or nips, though I’m still pretty involved. They’re displaying neutral and positive behavior: they eat together, will self groom, play and explore. Yesterday they started mir…[Read more]

Hi, in this post there will be talk about mental health/treatment stuff so TW regarding that.
My single bunny Gus is free roaming in my room and super cuddly and affectionate so I spend a good few hours a day snuggling with him. Since I am a minor, I will be involuntarily admitted to a treatment center (I can’t really disclose what) but it will…[Read more]

Hello
I don’t know if it’s usual behavior in bunny. But last two days my bunny just wants to be alone.
I always call her to come to me, to cuddle, lay down with me but she refuses. She just lays on her own in her room and won’t come to living room.
I don’t know if it could be because it’s too hot or so.
I’m home all day and she used to lay…[Read more]

I’m so sad now. Just one hour after I replied you, Jack attacked Josh again. I think it is because my water bowl is too small and they can’t put head together at the same time. I feel so bad now.
I cuddled Josh and then Jack for a few minutes and put them back to their playpens now.It is so frustrating and I was so close.
I have to wait for ano…[Read more] -

Has it been only 4 days then with the azithromycin? From my experience, that one does seem to take a little longer to show improvement.

Yep, don’t be concerned if she’s acting out. This is pretty normal post-spay/neuter and should start to resolve after a few weeks.

LBJ10 replied to the topic What's the best choice of treats and how much? in the forum HOUSE RABBIT Q & A 5 years, 2 months ago
Yes, I give a joint supplement daily as a “treat”. A daily small sliver of fruit is OK for most buns. You just want to make sure it doesn’t upset anything first.
