I reached out and spoke to someone from a rabbit rescue and they said that from the photos the bunnies look bonded or at least close so I should go ahead with the 48 hours and see how it goes.

I’m so sorry for your loss. Dogs can certainly grieve! I think most animals can (elephants will even die of a broken heart 😢)! Has it been only 4 days then with the azithromycin? From my experience, that one does seem to take a little longer to show improvement.

Yes, I give a joint supplement daily as a “treat”. A daily small sliver of fruit is OK for most buns. You just want to make sure it doesn’t upset anything first.
